When the pandemic hit the music world, it hit Eilera as well. She and a live band were preparing for the concerts that would have followed the release of the modern folk-rock acoustic album Waves. After the acoustic phase of Waves, the new album would resume the melodic art-rock/metal tradition of Eilera’s music. Expect a different feel though, since it was written and composed in exceptionally chaotic and dark times.
Eilera completed the writing, composition and arrangements of this new album at the end of 2021. 2022 is a new year, new times and the recording of a new album which has, at the time when I am writing these news, begun.
