The new Eilera album ‘Darker Chapter…and stars’ will be released digitally, Exclusively on www.eilera.com.
First release will be on December 17th 2009. This will be the starting point of a musical, visual and live adventure that will spread over several months!
The show dates will be posted on the official website as well.
Every now and then you will find a new song added, together with its very own visuals: new pics, new film, as well as narratives, all of them assembling to take you deeper into each song’s universe.

Today we got very serious evidence that the guys are working hard on the recording.
You can now see for yourself :) Jan Sormo – or someone who might be him - on bass, sending us our files from Helsinki :
Loïc Tézénas, or at least a hand that might be his, looking for THE BEST DISTORTED SOUND EVvvERRR!
Someone who might be Yoann Le Gall recording drums by night, cuz it’s more sensual this way :)

A nice fan of us from Poland contacted me yesterday to ask me whether the Remastered version of Fusion he found on a Polish webshop sounded better than our original Fusion album, and if he should buy it instead.
So I wrote to him what I will write now:
There is no such thing as a Remaster of Fusion!
This is just another way that some people found to exploit our work illegally.
As this man asked me then how you can know these days which CD is official and which is not, I answered this :
The best way this day to support your favourite bands is to buy their album from their website directly. This way you are sure the album won’t be overpriced, and you know the money will go directly to the artist, not to some thief.
You can also get the official albums from shops you know to be totally secured, like the band’s record company’s website, or Amazon, Play.com, itunes, spotify.com, or the ‘passionate music shop owner’ in your home-town, among the main ones.
This way, you can be sure that your money will be used by the artist to live, pay for their tour, and eventually pay for the recording of their next album.
It’s like a love story really, artists and supporters. One doesn’t exist without the other!
Then this Polish man wrote he would inform as many Polish people he can via his website…Bravo! ;-)

Hey all !
My recording afternoon was long, but voice for the future first single is in the box! In the meanwhile Yoann and Loïc were recording drums – first one behind the toms, second one behind computer :) Each of us in their home-studio bringing a new stone to the edifice.
As for tomorrow? Rehearsal! For some Friday means fish , for us it means rehearsal. In some cases both :)
Anyway; lots of work, and also lots of excitement to see things building up. We’re impatient to share them with you.
For now, there is one thing I can share with you. It’s the title of the future new-born :

She is now officially working together with a booking agency based in Helsinki – Finland – called Sam Agency.

The two talented people who have been working on it are: Jim Silander and Johan Snell.

Their inspiration was based on a beautiful picture taken by Emilie Potin-Suau, Eilera's visual accomplice of always.
There is no official release date for the album for now, but be sure that the aesthetics of the new album will be revealed to you little by little, as we get closer to it… ;-)
